# Source for a profile

> Source continuously for a profile type or sector, without a specific need.

A **Source for a profile** project lets you **source continuously** for a **profile type** or **sector**, without being tied to a specific client need.

Ideal for building a **talent pool** on the profiles you place regularly: when creating it, you describe the **target profile** (role, skills, seniority, location). Cobalt feeds the project with matching profiles via the [People Search Engine](/en/fonctionnalites/people-search/people-search).

As with sourcing for a need, the **Kanban** view is the default.
