# Re-enrichment

> Keep your database current: a contact with no interaction for a long time may have changed roles.

Re-enrichment keeps your database up to date. A candidate or client you haven't interacted with for a long time — a year, for example — may have changed roles, companies, or contact details.

Cobalt periodically re-enriches:

* the **candidate base**;
* the **client base**.

The goal: detect these changes and keep records reliable, with no manual research.
